VETNAH MONESSAR

 

Vetnah is a community organizer and political activist with over 15 years of experience mobilizing and elevating the narrative of Muslim Americans in our community.  She has led legislative electoral campaigns at all levels of government advocating for equitable healthcare, education reform, fair access, economic development and human rights in addition to numerous other issue-based campaigns. Vetnah served as the executive director of Emgage Florida, a civic engagement nonprofit that aims to educate, engage empower Muslim Americans in the civic engagement process. 

 

As a community leader, Vetnah’s been a constant champion for those who traditionally do not have their voices heard and empowering them to be involved in a democratic process. Vetnah focused on organizing the Muslim and AAPI Community in the state of Florida and New York as well as collaborating on various philanthropic boards and served as an Advisor for Qatar Embassy.
